For only sixty-two cents a day you can help turn impossible into possible by restoring hope in the lives of others. In 2016, there were 66,483 people whom were literally homeless in Michigan. Literally homeless is defined as an individual or family whose primary nighttime residence is a public or private place not meant for human habitation, or is living in a shelter, on the streets, or is exiting an institution where she/he has resided for less than 90 days. Families with children made up 43% of Michigan’s homeless population. The group with the largest increase were seniors over 55; these numbers climbed from 7,282 in 2014 to 7,919 in 2016.
By becoming a monthly S.O.S. partner for $19.00 per month, you will be helping the Homeless Angels in its mission to provide assistance for the homeless and those in need during their time of crisis. Our organization does not receive government funding, so your partnership is critical to the care and well-being of those we serve.
Your monthly donation will be helping to provide a warm, safe bed to those who would otherwise be sleeping in their car or outside in the elements, helping to provide food to the hungry, offering a valuable hand up to those in need and helping them get back on a path of success.
